About Us

Physiotherapist Glenys Walker has had a range of professional experience – from supporting local and Paralympic wheelchair teams, to managing a hospital physiotherapy department, running corporate exercise groups and more recently teaching undergraduate students. Additional qualifications in OHS, physiology, training and management have reinforced her belief that people have fewer injuries and perform better when they work according to the body’s natural form and function. Everyone has their own unique mix of characteristics and skills. This makes the challenge of providing the right information and finding optimal ways to ensure safe performance of workplace tasks for individuals and groups, both exciting and rewarding.

Because health is a multi-faceted area Glenys likes wherever possible, to work with an interprofessional team to provide the best service for clients.

One important message that ACH would like to share is:    No matter who and where you are or what you do, the right seemingly small changes in how you do things can gradually make a big difference to your life. Life is for living – and good physical and mental health are important factors in ensuring we can work and play to our best ability.
